my blog's dead
it's not like I have nothing to say. things have been running through my mind like a bullet train, just spitting words/phrases out every minute. though, it's not exactly relevant and some of them are truly random. so, I shall just keep them to myself (:
but well, I still have to write something in this blog post since it'll be really weird to just stop here, so I shall tell you bout my holidays.
about a month and a week ago, we had a month long break from uni. finally a break from all the assignments, boring lectures, quiet and awkward tutorials where no one talks to anyone so everyone just sits there staring at the tutor, and the best of all, the COLD(!)
went back home to kl on the 20th of June. it was my first time traveling alone on a long flight! wasn't exactly an unpleasant experience though, but I got so bored, I tried guessing who was going to be the person sitting next to me. my psychic ability failed btw, lol. endured an 8 hr flight by watching a movie which I tried remembering but couldn't, and sleeping the rest of the trip.
touched down at the airport, happy to be finally back in the territory I call my sweet home ground. cleared customs, got my luggage and was greeted by 3 very warm smiles from my parents and brother when I walked through the arrival gates, not to mention also getting a very warm greeting from KL, literally. that was the moment when it truly hit me that I was home. no more cold, no more empty wallets*heh*, no more work, no more cleaning, no more cooking; TRUE LIFE :D got home, and was happy to see everyone else. felt as though I haven't been away from home for nearly 4 months.
so it begins the life of the "lifeless". a typical day includes waking up to a "wei, lunch?" bbm by kenny around 1-2pm, bumming around the rest of the day in malls/home till dinner, having dinner with family or friends, leaving the hse to have supper/late night movie/drinks for the rest of the night till I get a msg from dad around 2am to come home lol. that's my typical weekday. weekends are more "happening" though (: first weekend was spent back in johor, was good having to eat all those hawker food that I've been craving for the whole time in Aus. second weekend was spent in Sg :D Sg was awesome, even after not seeing each other for 4 months, things truly have change, bt all for the better. the phrase 'absence makes the heart grow fonder' is really true (: nick came down for the third weekend, and it was good having him back home again. it was also the weekend after so long that everyone was back hme. pui back from uk, kevin from canada, hung from melaka, nick from sg, and me being back from aus :D my fourth weekend was spent being in sg again, haha! spent a good 4 days there again, and before i know it, the end came so fast and it was time to say goodbye again, sigh. bt well, looking on the bright side, 4 months from then, i'll be back for another 3 months for summer, and it'll be more awesome because there'll be more time! :D
the last weekend came, and it was time to say goodbye to kl and to the guys again :/ 5 weeks have passed, just like that. quite scary actually, bt well it's a good thing? cause it shows that time is passing by smoothly and i'll be hme again soon!
left kl, and here i am back in aus. uni has already commenced for nearly a week and a half, and it's been alright so far. though, assignments are beginning to kick in! OH WELL, LIFE. haha. at least the weather's on my side! the weather nw is quite perfect. sun shining everyday during the day, warming up the whole place and the cold winds only start to kick in around late evening. making my timetable simply purrrrfect (: hv i mentioned that i start classes at 11am almost everyday, and end the latest at 1pm, everyday? :D i dont get fridays off like many ppl, bt hey! with a timetable like this who needs a friday off, hehe!
there you go, a solid update (:
time to go get groceries nw, SIGH.
see yaaas!
